Bringing Festivity to Orphanage Children

Fesitivity

Every year Nesam arrange to gather 200 to 1000 children from various orphanages and homes like Ches, a home for HIV Positive children, Jeroham Children Home, Karunai Illam and St. Joseph's Home to amusement parks, Poonamalle. and take them to amusement parks. This happens every year in the month of October when Nesam celebrates its Nesam Day.

Every December Nesam celebrates the Christmas and Newyear with such children. The main idea is to bring the joy and the fesitivity to the poor children. It makes these underprivileged children to enjoy, through them we can cherish the joy that they emit.

Summer Camps for Slum children

Craft classes

Nesam conducts Summer Craft clases every year for the slum children. Every year around 100 children participate in the camp and benefit. The children are taught to make simple handicrafts such as PEN STAND with ice cream sticks, LETTERS HOLDER in jute materials, GREETING CARDS in chart papers with paints and brushes, POT PAINTING in mud pot with paints and kundan stones for decorations and last CRYSTAL TREE with crystal beads and gold strings. As we all know in summer camp for the upper middle class and middle class children they charge around Rs. 1500/- for each child. To give the same facilities which these children cannot afford we have been extending for the past seven years.

Independence day with War widows welface association

Nesam strongly believes that the real heroes of the nation are those who guard our boundaries and protect our nation. It is of greater importance to recognise those selfless heros. The soldiers who sacrifice their lives for the cause of our nation should be regarded as high as possible.

The families of living and late soldiers should also be credited for their sacrifice. Nesam celebrates the independce day every year with widows of soldiers who lost their precious lives in war for the welfare of our nation.
